One of the main guideline of the project was to save existing trees and shrubs and include them in the plant composition. The garden is divided into several zones with different purposes and character. There is an entrance area in front of the building with a convenient driveway and parking spaces, a large terrace with a small red-leafed tree, a swimming pool area, a place with hammocks in the shade of trees, and a multi-purpose sports field with artificial turf surrounded by a large lawn. Apr - oct 2024 - MAKING OF We used the existing water drainage ditch as a landscaping element, planted it with moisture-loving ferns and groundcover perennials and use it to divide the lawn space into two parts. A wooden footbridge over the ditch is a shortcut between the terrace near the house and the pavilion located under the existing pine trees. Forest garden with a pool Jan 2024 - DESIGN
Apr - oct 2024 - MAKING OF The shrubs and perennials used in the project are easy-to-maintain species, and planting them in large groups will reduce the time needed for garden care. Several exceptionally decorative specimens were planted to close the viewing axes visible from individual windows of the building.
In the sunniest place, next to the large lawn next to the pitch, there is space for several fruit trees, raspberry and blueberry bushes. In a slightly shadier part, next to the gazebo, strawberries were planted. Forest garden with a pool Jan 2024 - DESIGN
Apr - oct 2024 - MAKING OF The garden changes its appearance depending on the season and daytime. There are spring-blooming rhododendrons, serviceberry, lilacs, viburnums, pieris and ornamental cherries, summer hydrangeas in various varieties and colorful perennials blooming in summer and autumn. Some of the planted trees and shrubs also change color in autumn. Against the background of evergreen shrubs you can see shades of red of the palm maple, oak-leafed hydrangeas, bumblebees and hydrangeas climbing the trunks of pine trees and ornamental vines. In winter, the role of the main actors is taken over by evergreen pines, white birch trunks and groundcovers, evergreen groundgrass and ivies, while brown dried ornamental grasses introduce slightly warmer colors.
